The Origin Story

Addie's Treats: A Legacy of Love and Sweetness

Nestled in the heart of Sherwood, Arkansas, Addie's Treats is more than just a bakery—it’s a celebration of family, tradition, and the sweet legacy of Addie Robinson. Owned and operated by her granddaughter, Bethany Bowers, Addie's Treats carries forward a generational passion for baking that began in the cozy kitchens of Galloway, Arkansas, near Lonoke.

Addie Robinson’s daughter, Deborah Robinson, grew up off Clover Street in North Little Rock, Arkansas, where food and family were always at the center of life. It was in these warm, bustling kitchens that Bethany first learned to bake, standing by her grandmother's side, sifting flour, mixing batter, and absorbing the secrets of perfect Southern cakes.

For Bethany, baking with Addie was more than just learning recipes—it was a sacred time of storytelling and connection, a chance to learn about her family's deep roots and the values they cherished. This bond inspired Bethany to open Addie's Treats, naming it in honor of her grandmother to keep her legacy alive.

At Addie'sTreats, every cake is baked with the same love and care that Addie poured into her family. From Red Velvet to Lemon Pound Cake, each creation is a slice of history, seasoned with tradition and topped with a touch of Southern hospitality.

Step inside, and you’ll taste the warmth of family in every bite
